What is movember?
Movember is the month formerly known as November, where men and women across the globe join together to raise awareness and funds for men’s health. Men grow and women support a Mo (moustache or mustache) for 30 days becoming walking, talking billboards. Movember supports world-class men’s health programs that combat prostate and testicular cancer.
Men who support this month long charity event, are called Mo Bros. Mo Bros planning to grow a mustache, start the month clean-shaven, then grow and groom their Mo, for the rest of the month, raising money along the way. Women who support this cause are called Mo Sistas. Mo Sistas champion the Mo by registering and supporting the men in their life, spreading the important message of men’s health, leading a team and organizing events.
Join the Movember Movement and Help Us Change the Face of Men’s Health.
At a national level, Movember partners with the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF), whose stated objective is to empower the world’s top scientific minds by cutting red tape and encouraging collaboration to speed breakthroughs.
Movember is working to ensure that men and boys living with and beyond testicular cancer have the treatment and care needed to be physically and mentally well.
Mental health is an integral part of health. Movember invests in ideas that help men and boys stay mentally healthy.
We’re committed to raising awareness on the dangers of physical inactivity and investing in initiatives that encourage physical activity
